“Trevor often reminded us to ‘be bold, be different, but always do everything in good taste.’ His ethos of kindness, care, and excellence continues to guide us. He expressed immense pride in our team and confidence in our commitment to carrying forward his legacy.”
As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, the team instead requested donations to four charities close to his heart, Marie Curie, Cancer Research UK, Rowans Hospice and My New Hair – the last of which he founded himself after creating a wig for his brother’s wife as she battled bone cancer. The charity, which created realistic wigs for cancer patients, was recently brought before the government for their consideration.
It was just last month when Sorbie appeared on the British morning television show he is a regular on, This Morningto announce that the bowel cancer he was first diagnosed with in 2019 had spread to his liver and had become terminal, giving him only months to live.
