Romano, now 39, shared a YouTube video in 2021 in which she detailed how poor financial decisions led to her blowing her millionaire status.

“This is how I blew all my Disney money. I started making money with Disney when I was 16,” she began.

“My biggest thing about child actors, you aren’t told that the work is going to slow down. In fact, I was told the opposite, specifically by my mum, some of my team, even my money manager at the time.

“I really regret not investing my money wisely. I didn’t get a house, I didn’t take any money and store it away.”

That same year, Romano also revealed she doesn’t speak to her co-star LaBeouf anymore, admitting they were “never really friends”.

“To be honest, I don’t know if we were ever really friends, but we were co-workers,” she said in a YouTube video.

“It just wasn’t like that. We weren’t really close.”

Romano is now married to husband Brendan Rooney and they share daughters Isabella and Sophia.
