Hugh Jackman made a very special announcement this week; he’s set to hit the stage in New York for a series of concert shows and performances.
Called From New York, With Love, the Australian actor, 55, enlisted the help from close friend Ryan Reynolds, 47, for the hilarious announcement.
The shows will take place at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City on select dates from January to August next year and will see the star perform songs from some of the productions he’s been involved in over the years.

“Hey Ryan, you want to come to one of my live performances at Radio City Music Hall?” Jackman says to Reynolds in the announcement video.
“Wait you’re going to be singing and dancing and joking live? Am I going to be in it?” Reynolds quips.
“Absolutely,” Jackman shoots back, before shaking his head to the camera and saying: “This is my time!”

“I’m not going to be in it?” Reynolds adds, before Jackman jokes: “On stage, no. But in my heart, yes.”
“I’ve won the friendship lottery!” Reynolds adds.
“It’s happening!!!” Jackman captioned the video to his million of followers.

He also shared a poster for the shows, writing: “Oh what a beautiful day.”
“Wish I was there to see it. Bring it back to Sydney,” one fan commented underneath.
Jackman will perform songs from The Greatest Showman and The Boy From Oz among others.
Reynolds and Jackman have been friends for years and recently worked together on Deadpool & Wolverine.
Reynolds recently spoke about how the pair first met back in 2007 and said he was immediately struck by the Aussie star being a gentleman to everyone on set.
“I was a nervous mess. Film sets can have a scary imbalance of power and I remember seeing how he treated every member of the crew with genuine respect and appreciation,” he said.
“He made a case that the term ‘filmmaker’ isn’t just for people with their name on the poster.
“I don’t know anyone more thoughtful, and classy than Hugh. He’ll do anything for someone he loves. He’ll do anything for someone he just met.”
