‘Keeping it real’: Why Jamie Lee left the Oscars early


Jamie Lee Curtis is keeping it real.

Shortly after making an appearance at the oscarsthe Everything Everywhere All At Once star ditched the glamorous ceremony making a beeline for the In And Out drive-thru.

The actor, 65, was still in her Oscar dress and full glam as she headed to the iconic fast food chain for a burger, fries and a soft drink.

She shared the post-Oscars outing to her Instagram with a selfie, a photo of the drive-thru attendant and a snap of her backseat feast.

Noting that her trip for the star-studded show was very brief, Curtis captioned her post with her Hollywood checklist.

“Fly in. Get fluffed and folded. Present at Oscars. Go to In And Out Burger. Fly Away,” she wrote.

Hundreds on Instagram responded to the post, with some commenting on the actor’s relatable move.

“Really just presented and dipped. I respect it,” one comment read.

“Keeping it real. Love the In ‘n” Out burger,” read another.

Her return to the Academy Awards stage comes one year after she won the Oscar for the same category for her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once,

This year, Curtis turned heads on the red carpet wearing a stunning black gown by Dolce and Gabbana. She completed the look with a diamond encrusted gold cuff by Cathy Waterman.

She also made a subtle nod to her Oscar-winning role, with an Everything Everywhere All At Once bagel by Ke Huy Quan on her vintage Hermès clutch.

Besides her relatable fast-food trip, Curtis kept it real throughout her entire Oscars experience this year.

Yesterday she shared a selfie to Instagram in a bright green face mask. She captioned the post “prepper!”.
